June 29th, 2009

Hello -- I know that today is the 30th and my title is pointing to yesterday -- the reasoning behind this is that I am posting my yesterdays workouts, as the blogger was not working correctly so that I could not post.

I was able to get in my long run yesterday and my circuit!!

I went to take the van to the shop and after I dropped it off I just took off running from there, the total length that I was able to route was 4.2 Mi.. That is my long run for the week, now I will be onto the others ( tempo/hard-med ) for the rest of the week !!

My goal is that by next week/week after to hit 5 mi and sit at that for the month of July. I have now planned a lil trip in Oct!! I am going to sign up to do a half marathon on the coast!!! This has been something that I have wanted to do since I started running and now I am going to do it!! AT least I am signing up for it!!

All the support is going to be appreciated!! For I am going to need it !!!

I will post info on that marathon and also a sponser that I am going to sign up with.

I will be doing my circuit training today, as well.

June 24th, 2009

Today was a good day!!

I ran my tempo run and did it all in the amount of time I did on Monday, for my long run. Of course, I did the same run ( distance )!!

I did not, however, get in my circuit -- there is tomorrow!!

Next week, for my long run on Monday, I will shoot for 4.5 mi!!

June 22nd, 2009

Well Well Well....

Here is a day to remember !! I aged one more year today -- good or bad -- you choose!!

I was able to do what I needed for my exercise regime !!

I ran, in the heat none the less, 3.2 Mi @ 9.8 Pace = 32 min!! Than I came home, drank 32 oz of water and then onto my circuit training.

Afterwards, more water and alot of sweat!! Yet, I felt damn good !!

* Also, to follow up from last week -- I did my workouts -- just got so busy with life that I forgot to blog. :(

June 16th, 2009

Today was amazing!!!!

I did my circuit training, with the cardio intervals ( 2 mi ) in between the exercises.

I have put up a mirror in my basement to view my form and keep up with my definition. It was amazing !!!!

I am very proud of me and hope to continue!! This is my second day of my second week and I am very pleased!!

Now to continue and also to keep up eating healthier!!

To do so well, feel amazing!! Inside and Out!!!

June 15th, 2009

Sometimes in life, the only thing you can do is run!! This is what I am finding out, when it hits you, you just do not know where to place it, so you take off and exercise!! ( OK -- thats what I do/did )

Today was my long run -- this would be my second week on this program. I am sooooooo proud of myself, I bout damn near did a jig at the top of the hill when I hit my home target!!!!

I ran a 3.2 mi at a 9.22 min pace!!!! YES!!

Now for the circuit training... I will do that this afternoon, for I seem to not have stretched my muscles enough so .. I need to intertwine with my trainer.

I ended up walking a 'lil bit for I got a charlie horse in my calf at the halfway mark today, stretched it best I could there and did when I got home. Yet, she is SORE. I need to take care of that, so that I do not injure myself any further!!

I also signed up for a 5K in July!!

Watch out -- I am back in the game!!

June 12th, 2009

Hello to all my followers,

I have not posted much this week for I have just been to swamped and tired from life, as well as the workouts!!!!

I did complete my circuit routines on Wed/Thurs along with my run being yesterday instead of Wed..

I totally feel/felt it in my quads, yet, I know what this means!! IT IS WORKING!!

Like one of my readers wrote, I love this btw, that pain is weakness leaving the body!!

After the new schedule!!

Last week I was given a new workout schedule from my PT.

I have finished the 'run' part for today !! 2.7M in 20 min!!

YES!!!

I have new goals and a new schedule now.

One of my goals -- >> is to run a marathon on a coast!! That is just a reward to myself for the new measurements I have for myself!!

In time, I will do it!!

June 1st 2009

Who woulda thought that on June 1st, 2009 I would be reporting on Blogger, that I just completed a run of 2.3M??? Not my mother or myself in 1976 ( yep...year I was brought into this world ).


What a beautiful day!! It is Monday and I have been listening to the goals that I set forth.. to start up my exercise regimen once again.

I will be emailing my PT to set up some time to get the strengthening put back in as well...would like more definition on my arms/legs and to loose inches on the middle.

Only way to get to where you wanna be, is to WORK to get there!!

SO DO IT!!
