And its time, once again ...

It’s been a long time coming that I begin blogging about my exercise and the way that I'm living my life today. Ooodles have changed since my last blog. My apologies on not updating, my life seems to be very full today (Mother of two busy children, Fulltime JOB, training, being a friend, family member, etc ). Sometimes, there are just priorities that have to take precedence.

First things first: I’ve now completed my 15th Half Marathon ( Herothon in San Antonio, TX on Jan. 27th, 2013 ) and my 32nd race to the date. What a great time!!! There were no records set, but there were many things realized. Such as: I hate running long distances without the proper training behind me. I also despise not being up to par with the ladies that I’m running with, hence: MORE TRAINING.
Although, I was on for being trained until I was hit with the wonderful Influenza A ( out for 11 days prior to the taper week ) and also previous to that the children were sick and we also had to deal with the holidays ~ oh and lets not forget about the bug that decided to visit us TWICE: Lice.
With having shared all that – I pulled off a 2:08 in the humidity and the help of two amazing women, whom I know am able to call my friends. I was also honored to run with a new found friend named, Chuck. He was also awesome, pulled a GREAT time, hit top AG all while falling and getting hurt!!! How awesome are runners???

Second thing: I’m now working diligently on my nutrition. I’m working on dropping over 6% body fat while eating every 2 to 3 hrs per day all with clean eating. It would be mainly classified as eating as a body builder, though that’s not me. I’m just trying to lean down to show the world what I’m able to do.

Third thing: I hit the gym 6 days per week, at least 1.5 hrs up to 4 hrs., depending on the day and if I have homework and/or the children by my side. Though the local YMCA
is a great venue for all of this and the children enjoy the time spent being children with other children. I’m also getting up at 5 AM to hit cardio ( 30 min ) this increases my metabolism and starts my day off right.

Forth thing: I’m now venturing into media and looking towards spokesmen ship for the local businesses, sharing with the world that fitness and nutrition will make a difference in your life, all with eating extremely healthy without supplements. There will be news to follow, though here’s a quick pic for your entertainment to view of the progress I’ve made and also the upcoming photo’s you will see.

Enjoy life, people – we only live it once, that we know of today. How are you going to live your life,  I’m going all out and doing all that I’m able to while I’m here today and to share with my children that the impossible IS possible. ONWARD.
